FIGURING YARDAGE
USING "WPI" (wraps per inch) FOR KNITTING

Most yarns on our website have "wpi" listed.  The "wpi" is determined by
wrapping a particular yarn around a ruler for one inch...side by side without overlapping
or seeing the ruler thru the yarn.

FOR WEAVING
Take the total number of wraps per inch and divide by two for tabby/plain weave.
This number will be your "sett" or how many "ends per inch" you should use.
