(*actual weight is 3.75/4. This yarn is manufactured with a "knitting" twist...not a "weaving" twist which creates a softer yarn suitable for knitted wash/dish cloths, baby blankets, etc. Even though it is a strong yarn, a single strand can be broken with some effort. It is NOT as strong as the tightly-twisted 4-ply "Maysville Rug Warp" even though I believe it can be used successfully as a rug warp.) |
